Robin has a business degree (BSBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado) and a career in marketing, publishing, start-up work and professional fundraising. She worked as a marketer for consumer and trade magazines, focusing on promotions and partnerships. She was responsible for the start-up of five publications and the redesign/relaunch of three magazines, and she ran the fundraising team for a non-profit working to provide research and medicines for a children’s disease.
Robin devotes her time in her community by working with organizations where she can look after the educational vitality of each student. She has served on the Board of Directors for organizations such as Impact on Education, The Community Foundation, Summit Charter Middle School, The School Food Project, and Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) – serving as Event Chair for Boulder’s largest charity event, the EFAA Fundraiser GALA. She serves as a Trustee for BMoca and The Growe Foundation.
She has two sons (and two demanding dogs!) and considers herself fortunate to be able to devote a great deal of time to community service and philanthropy via the Luff Family Foundation. Robin has lived with her family in Boulder since 1989.
